Over the pandemic and various lockdowns Ritwik had put on 14 extra kg’s (98KG- photo) and hadn’t been training. He started to train with BARK BEAT and without doing one sit up or push up or any other training has lost over 10Kg’s in 3 months and has found his game has improved (after photo).

Suraj has totally reconstructed himself as a boxer since he has been training at the BARK BEAT Centre at the Route Of Balance Sports Village on the outskirts of Mumbai. In his words, “ I have totally transformed myself and BARK BEAT is the reason. Today I’m not a paralyzed boxer playing from only one side. Both my stances are active and I’m ready to fire. Now, I am able to Box on both feet and punch any combination effortlessly. Earlier with traditional Boxing training at max I was doing 200 Punches 4-5 times a week. Now I’m doing about 5000-6000 punches in 5 ot 6 songs in a 45 mins session and what’s amazing is that I’m not even realising it. More importantly after 2 months of training my balance and more power and ease of punching has gone up tremendously and now I feel I can do any combination of punches including Hooks and Uppercuts with total ease and my movement and bounce has become so natural. I am really looking forward to my 1st Professional Fight in 2022. Thank you Munish and his entire team at the Route of Balance Sports Village for literally changing my life and opening my mind.”

The Tribal kids from the Kalote Mokashi Village in Raigad district of Maharashtra have been doing BARK BEAT since its inception in 2021. We have 42 players who are ranked on the Indian I-Spin National Rankings. Bijali Darvada, Raju Shingwa, Naresh Shingava are all ranked on the World Rankings as well and are the first Tribal Squash Professional Athletes. The whole Academy under the guidance of Ritwik Bhattacharya and Karan Sharma (HEAD BARK BEAT Coach) have seen huge improvements in the trainees who are aged between 8 and 18 years. Lots of excitement to train along with improvements in their aerobic and anaerobic fitness, hand eye coordination, sound awareness – they can hear better and respond faster to the ball, are lighter on their feet and have much better rhythm and bounce around the court and most importantly are really enjoying their training and prefer to warm up every day only with BARK BEAT.
